Bromley College Rockery Lane Bromley.
System used:- Alsecco. Its a render only system.10mm of render with a 1.5mm Silicone finish.
Due to the close proximity of the mature tree's the fabric of the exterior wall had over the years been effected by fungal build up.The solution to this was to wash the effected areas with anti-fungal wash (several times) and the apply stabilizing solution with 10mm of render and 1.5mm self cleaning effect finish.
Leatham Rooms, Caterham School, Caterham.
System used:- Marmorit. Build up of wall 90mm Insulation ,6mm sm700 with 1.5mm Conni finish.
Baxall Construction recently completed this project and needed to bring the existing building up to current u-value regulations, a 90mm insulation board was installed directly over the brickwork to create a modern, clean look to the existing fabric of the building.
Mashiters Hill, Romford
System used; Weber. Build up of wall; 90mm insulation. 6mm of l.A.C render with 1.5 finish.
The customer had major problems with heat loss though the 9" solid walls, a secondary problem was build up of mould to the internal walls,also the house is situated near a main road and the customer wanted to reduce the noise from the traffic .All of these problems are now solved.This project also came with grant funding and the customer saved over eight hundred pounds.
The Millway, Potters Bar, Watford
System Used; Weber. Build up of wall; 90mm insulation, 6mm of L.A.C render with 1.5mm finish.
The customer had over several year extender both dwelllings and had a number of different substrates.The use of the insulated system helped achieve a fresh new modern feel to the external facade of the house.The utility bills for these properties have been considerable reduced due to the installation of the warm wall system.
Aden Grove, Hackney.
System Used; Weber. Build up; Cavity System created with timber Counter battons with Render carrier board,6mm of L.A.C render and 1.5mm finish. Due to the construction of the house (timber frame) a 20mm cavity was needed to allow the airflow though the fabric. The house was constructed in a factory unit and transported to site and then the render applied.
